What do we do?
Obviously lace design & draughting but that’s not all!
We collaborate with our customers from the seed of an idea to the final lace sample, giving a complete service.
What machines do we work with?
We have expertise with all multi-bar machines including Leavers.
Every step of the way advice is available including during production to get the best possible result.
What about design?
Everything from narrow bands to Leavers flounces for intimate and outerwear, focusing on commercial fashion-led designs.
Any help with trends?
We produce our own seasonal trend direction, looking at inspiration ideally transferable to practical, commercial laces.

Our story
The Company was started in 1988 by Bill Watkin & Brian West in Long Eaton, Nottingham. Both were trained in the Leavers tradition, keen to pass on this special knowledge to their team.
The aim was always to take pride in everything we did.
Today we are based in the Lace Market in Nottingham’s city centre continuing that legacy, working with global lace makers like another member of their team. This allows us to give a quick service at all times.
We are trend and customer-led in all our work, producing fashionable but still commercial laces which we hope will never disappoint.
